About Us<\/h2>\n

As a ministry of Alfred Place Baptist church, the bookshop has been of great importance, as part of the overall ministry of the church for many years. The Christian Bookshop has been \u2018serving\u2019 Aberystwyth and the surrounding areas since 1974. We do have a presence in the town, and strange as it may be, people seem to know where the bookshop is rather than the church. The bookshop then is part of the town, and it\u2019s our aim to continue \u2018serving\u2019 the town by supplying reliable Christian literature <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n

We have a small, very dedicated, team of volunteers. The staff come from our own church (Alfred Place), and from the Welsh Evangelical Church (Aberystwyth), and so at least two of our volunteers are Welsh speaking. Therefore we do stock books in Welsh, including Welsh bibles and children\u2019s books. <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n

Our Purpose<\/h3>\n
